ripples reveal, so we may heal

Currently in the Cosmos

the moon has entered her waxing-maxxing era: swelling with silver, she's been gathering light all fortnight, and now she's flaunting every last luminous curve. as she should. the cycles have been cycling, y'all. it feels very aligned + alive. as i type this, she is making her way through my natal moon sign, aquarius, before she makes her final flow fully into pisces—where we will also experience another astrological event, a lunar eclipse. let's chat about what that means. get cozy. we're getting into the musings of what is currently in the cosmos. oh also, it is 11:11. make a wish!

this eclipse energy is of endings + beginnings. they most certainly always are. a series of events that have been rippling through the collective psyche since september 2024. we are working with themes of bringing in + letting go. what are you working toward, what are your actions, what are the dreams you have been weaving, what has your intuition been wishing? what can you see + what do you believe? lots of questions floating around, along with the answers as well.

there is a more potent pocket of movement that we are experiencing. find your drishti—your fixed gaze point—and slow down enough to notice + recognize its effects. the ways we imagine our world to be is how we can magnetize + draw closer to us the behaviors + choices that intentionally match that resonance.

trust is key. we have become more detached + desensitized from all the decades of being told to produce + perform. the first eclipse of this portal in leo, revealed who we are when the mask drops. we must trust our guides, our selves, and most importantly our dreamy intuition.

let yourself ponder + peruse the possibilities that pisces is currently placing on your path. distance hath made our hearts grow fonder. now the time has arrived to act + do. newsflash: acting + doing doesn't always mean getting up + getting out. sometimes the most potent action available is the disciplined act of stillness. of focusing inward. of receiving the wisdom that has been waiting for you to slow down enough to hear it. that is the acting + doing this moment is asking for.

Symbolic Sensations

the psyche speaks through image before language. through sensation before story. we feel something + it moves us—through dream, color, rhythm, gesture, symbol—inviting us into a deeper kind of listening. one within ourselves. then we choose how we want to move.

my art is a reflection of this energy. you see it through the movement of the ripple—one intentional choice, building upon itself, watching how far it reaches. outward, beyond what we can see in front of us. this is how healing happens. this is how the psyche works. cycles + spirals, vastness extending out into spaces far beyond what we see.

this is why we make art. and why we need to make more of it. not images generated from an algorithm—but choosing elements based on what we are moved by. following what has energy. letting the image lead. the psyche reveals itself through the choosing, and as a result more of our own being is reflected back to us. we unfold, as the image does.

the two koi move in opposite directions around a still center—holding what feels impossible to hold. love + grief. hope + disappointment. the tension of two true things, circling each other until something new emerges from the center. that is the pisces glyph. that is also the eclipse. that is also the work. my personal experience right now, as i seek out + work on ways to grow my family, both through adoption + fertility treatments. you are witnessing my vulnerability as it pours out of my heart + into the image.

the plumeria moves, much as my emotions do, drifts in from above—devotion, beauty arriving after surrender, the soul flower blooming in threshold spaces. the clouds rise from below—what has been submerged, surfacing. the veil between the seen + unseen, growing thin. closing in on a new reality that will forever change my world. god + goddess willing.

so you see it, you feel it, you move through it. that is what this is. a journey of movement—made in response to what i was moving through. that is the invitation for friday—to let the body lead, to follow what calls, to make something that answers back. one image, one feeling, one honest encounter at a time.
